 Real Madrid will take on Chelsea in the Champions league Semi Finals First Leg at home 

UEFA Champions league is back with a mouthwatering clash between the Chelsea Blues and the European kings Real Madrid, Real will host blues in the first leg at a game which is set be a tactical battle between the managers Zinidane Zidane and Thomas Tuchel, Real are said to be favourites to go through to the finals after defeating Liverpool in the Quarter Finals while Chelsea are the dark horses and will look for an upset at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Chelsea will be playing their eight UEFA Champions league semi - finals while it will be number 14th for Real Madrid, history sure backs up Chelsea while Real have faced Blues more often then other sides in all competition without winning failing to do so in all of the three matches while these teams clashed the record goes on stating a draw and 2 defeats for the Los Blancos against the Blues of the London.

Team News for Real Madrid - Eden Hazard is back to face his former club, he might not be 100% fit but he did make a comeback off the bench in the league for a total of 13 minutes. Hazard has been unlucky throughout his time at Madrid with injuries holding back the Belgium superstar, he has just 4 goals in 37 appearances for Real, Toni Kross is also expected to start alongside Modric and Casemiro. Zidane loves the Champions league and his team will surely be up for the fight and as it is said never write off Real Madrid in the Champions league.

Chelsea Team News - Kovacic will be fit and firing against his former team, Timo Werner is looking good after a shaky start to his Chelsea career, Thiago Silva in the defence is sure a boost for Thomas Tuchel who brings loads of experience in the side, while eyes will be on Mason Mount the young prodigy from Blues who has been their key player so far this season 

 

Madrid will surely be missing their captain Sergio Ramos who is out injured and his future at the clubs in doubts as the situation with his contract has not changed and if it stays like it say, Ramos will be looking to eye a move away from Real Madrid this summer.

 

Thomas Tuchel the Chelsea manager spoke to the press where he spoke about his team being themselves have better chances to go through, these were his words " Be ourselves, Rely on our strengths and to do things that make you confident. We have these things as a team and this is what we try to do at the best level. The challenge is to be ourselves, the best version of ourselves, for the 90 or 94 minutes against Real Madrid".

It will be a fascinating watch to see how both the teams cancel each other out on the field while Real will rely on its experience while the Blues have young blood and a point to prove away from Home at Madrid and what better way to make a statement then defeating Real Madrid in the Semi- finals of the Champions league.

Predictions - The game at Real Madrid's home they have an advantage but there are signs that the game could be cagey and only a single or two goals would be an outcome of that game, the game will end 1-1 with Chelsea taking home the all important away goal.
