Barcelona inches closer at top of the La Liga table
Barcelona won away at Villareal which was a crucial game for them in their title race and managed to get all the three points away from home against 10 men Villareal in a match that was very important for both the sides, Girezmann came up with the goods as his two goals in the first half separated the two sides who were at loggerheads against each other throughout the game.

Second half Villareal had a sense of purpose and attitude to their game and were looking ever so good in their attacks there were moments Barca had to make crucial defensive touches, but all of the momentum and the energy was put to a halt in the 65th minute when the ref sent off M.Trigueros a straight red card for a tackle on Lionel Messi which was indeed dangerous play by the the Villareal player, from then on Barcelona hung on to their lead and Villareal did manage to have a go at Barca but fell short on their efforts.
Villreal will now focus on their Europa league Semi Final clash aa game in hand against Granada a chance to further more put pressure on Atleti who are currently at top of the La Liga table gainst Arsenal while Barcelona are looking steady on their title challenge and all eyes will be on Sevilla and Atletico Madrid who play late on the night, next fixture for Barca will be

A.Griezmann was man of the match and in the post match press conference he mentioned that " We have to give everything, there are only six games left" a message which convey's Barcelon's intent that they are up for the Title race and they do believe they can win it
