The European Super League Explained

A Total of 12 European clubs have jointly announced an agreement for the Super League

European Super League will be an exclusive league consisting of Giants of the European club football, a total of 12 founding team have jointly made an agreement to mark the inception of the league from the month of August, Teams joining in as founding members are as follow:
AC Milan ,Internazionale,Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs, Three clubs each from the La Liga and the Serie A while a big chunk of six team from the English Premier League.

The European Super League has announced it would breakaway from the UEFA and FIFA and form its own League a decision which has been condemned and rejected by FIFA and UEFA both, The European Super League will be a league of 20 and 2 fixtures by a team home and away will be played and the top 3 teams from both the groups will then proceed to Quarter Finals of the competition, the team placed fourth and fifth will have to play, play - offs for the remaining spot for the knock out stage of the competition.

The top 12 Teams along with 3 other are expected to be invited which are clubs like PSG, Bayern Munchen and maybe Ajax, there will be qualification rounds for the 5 remaining spots a tricky situation for the underdog teams and teams from the lower half of the league who somehow made it in the Champions league but will not be able to do as this proposed Super League will lead to dissolve of the UEFA Champions league.

Should the Super League go ahead like planned this would change football entirely with domestic football in Spain, England and Italy with the statement being read " The founding clubs will receive and amount of 3.5 Billion Euros solely to support their infrastructure investment plans and to offset the impact of Pandemic". In response to which the UEFA made an official statement stating " The clubs concerned will be banned from playing in any other competition at domestic, European or world level, and their players could be denied the opportunity to represent their national teams"

There is no outcome till now on how this Super league will impact and what the ground reality will be on the domestic leagues which have raised their concerns and the outcomes to this Super league, while this can surely be a reality if FIFA and UEFA who are going to meet tomorrow do not come to a conclusion of the issue, then the Super League will be well up and running.

The Spanish Giants announced their support and inaugural membership as the founding members of the European Super league, while there was an idea of the Super League within the clubs but no one could've guessed that it can be a reality this early, while there will be damage done to the fans and the supports of the domestic clubs who are in a decline after such an idea and surely this idea of Super League is against the essence of Merit, competition and hard work which have been the ideals for the game so long in its History, will this change bring an end to domestic clubs and their ideas or will there be another twist in the tale, that will be clear soon enough but as of now European Super league is a Reality and its the Death of Football to say the least.
